- Creative Industries minister describes world class reputation of School of Media academics

Minister for the Creative Industries Sion Simon this week used his speech at the Hello Digital conference to talk about Birmingham's growing international reputation in social media.
Among the figures he highlighted were School of Media academics Jon Hickman and Paul Bradshaw, who he described as "world class".
The speech also mentioned local figures Jon Bounds, Nick Booth and Rhubarb Radio, all of whom have spoken to students recently.
